KLAS taps 3M as top medical records coding product of 2012

Independent healthcare research firm KLAS has ranked 3M’s Codefinder Software as the top medical records coding product for the fifth year in a row.  Quantim Coding from Nuance took second place, and OptumInsight’s Web.Strat rounded out the list in third.

In use at over 5,000 hospitals worldwide, 3M Codefinder Software is complete is ICD-10-CM and ICD-10PCS code sets to help prepare for the 2014 transition.  The software includes document insufficiency flagging, translation, and double and dual coding.
