CommonWell Health Alliance Adds Health IT Vendor to HIE Network
Health IT vendor ModuleMD has joined the CommonWell Health Alliance to drive health information exchange (HIE) across its network of over 75,000 referral providers.
CommonWell Health Alliance has added health IT vendor ModuleMD to its national health information exchange (HIE) network.
CommonWell has recently experienced significant membership growth, operating at scale across more than 34,000 provider sites representing 218 million individuals on its nationwide network.
Integration into CommonWell's community will allow ModuleMD's provider network of over 75,000 referral providers to transfer and access patient data across the CommonWell network.
The integration poises ModuleMD as one of the first health IT vendors to join the new CommonWell platform, which will expand services for connected organizations and with Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) if designated a Qualified Health Information Network (QHIN) upon its anticipated Q1 2024 release.
Leveraging CommonWell's expansive health information exchange (HIE) platform alongside ModuleMD's EHR is set to boost streamlined care team collaboration for patient-centered care.

This partnership represents a joint commitment to establishing a healthcare ecosystem that prioritizes the enhancement of interoperability and, ultimately, patient outcomes.
