KLAS taps 3M as top medical records coding product of 2012

- Independent healthcare research firm KLAS has ranked 3M’s Codefinder Software as the top medical records coding product for the fifth year in a row.  Quantim Coding from Nuance took second place, and OptumInsight’s Web.Strat rounded out the list in third.

In use at over 5,000 hospitals worldwide, 3M Codefinder Software is complete is ICD-10-CM and ICD-10PCS code sets to help prepare for the 2014 transition.  The software includes document insufficiency flagging, translation, and double and dual coding.
