- The Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative (SHIEC) recently announced its Strategic Business and Technology (SB&T) partner program grew more than six-fold in 2017.
The national collaborative’s health IT company partner program grew from five to 32 members.
“SHIEC experienced massive growth in 2017,” said SHIEC CEO Kelley Hoover Thompson. “SHIEC’s HIE membership reached 60 members, and as we continue to attract more HIE members, the vendors who support them are also signing on.”
Members of SHIEC’s SB&T program include 4medica, Ambra Health, Audacious Inquiry, CedarBridge Group, InterSystems, Verato, Orion Health, DrFirst, and Medicity, among others.
“Our Strategic Business and Technology partners provide a technology ecosystem that supports our member HIEs,” Thompson said. “The HIEs benefit from regular vendor events focused on educating them about new technologies and trends, and our vendors have access to the people and organizations implementing health data sharing across the country. It’s a win for everyone involved.”
Other members of SHIEC SB&T include Barclay Damon, CrossTX, DataFile Technologies, Diameter Health, eHealth Technologies, EmergenceTek Group, Forcare, HealthBI, HighFive Health, IMAT Solutions, and Zen Healthcare IT.
Health IT companies can join SHIEC as an SB&T partner through an application process. By joining SB&T, companies gain access to leaders in the health information exchange (HIE) industry.
Other partners include XchangeWorx, VorroHealth, Verinovum, WoMBA, Iatric Systems, J2 Interactive, MEDfx, MedicaSoft, Mosaica Partners, Right Angle Solutions, and Stella Technology.
In addition to these health IT developer partners, SHIEC also includes over 60 member HIE organizations.
